. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

The Regatta will be a one Day event, of Fleet Racing.

Prizes will be for both Line and Handicap, the handicap using the EHCIS Electron Handicaping System. So everyone has a chance to win. Many Spot prizes will be presented at the prize giving.

The OOD will attempt to get as many Round Robins in as possible in the Day.

Sunday is reserved in case of adverse weather or conditions.

If not required, there will be some fun racing on Sunday from 10 am to 12 for those interested . . . Format yet to be determined.

The Prize Giving will be held at a local Restaurant, the "Black Sugar".

We have had some terrific Spot Prizes donated to date, including 4 nights accommodation for 2 in Rarotonga, Electron Sails, Sail Carrier, and Cradle. And there are more.

The Trophys

The Trophys are still under construction, however, have a place in NZ History, as they have been made from a piece of 55 Thousand Year Old Swamp Kauri. Each are a little piece of New Zealand's history.

These are to take home.

The Main Trophy, is a recreation of the First Trophy from when the OYC hosted the event in 2011. This also has a particular NZ factor, now having a Kauri Backing Board . . . particularly cut by the woodworker . . .

We would obviously appreciate your early indication of attending.

We assure you of some terrific sailing.

Greg Paul

OYC secretary / treasurer

More Information will be supplied as we get close to the event
