The Regatta will consist of Fleet
Racing, and on Sunday, Match Racing,.

The Match Racing is open to all and should
someone not be able to compete in the
Fleet racing, they can still enter the
Match Racing.

Prizes will be for both Line and Handicap, the handicap using the EHCIS Electron Handicaping System. So everyone has a chance to win.

The Prize Giving / Saturday Evening Diner - Venue to be advised.

Spot prizes will be presented at the prize giving, the competitor will need to be there on the night, otherwise, it will be redrawn.

The OOD will attempt to complete 2 Round Robins.

While it is intended the Match Racing will be held on Sunday, the Fleet racing will take priority, Sunday is reserved in case of adverse weather or conditions, to enable the completion of the Fleet Racing.

Should you enter the Match Racing, and it is not able to be run, Orakei Yacht Club will endeavour to hold it on another date.

The Trophys

The Main Trophy, is a recreation of the First Trophy from when the OYC hosted the event in 2011. This also has a particular NZ factor, now having a Kauri Backing Board . . . particularly cut by a Kauri woodworker . . . based in Clevedon.

Take home Trophies will be presented to all 1st, 2nd & third place getters, Line, Handicap and Match Racing .

The Handicap Trophy, introduced at the 2018 event is by the same Kauri woodworker.

ENTRIES

We would obviously appreciate your early indication of attending.

We assure you of some terrific sailing.
